It details everything you could possibly need to know in order to make your purchase – from detailed information about why you should be careful not to choose something too soft or too firm all the way through to some of the more popular styles currently available – it even includes some terrifying facts that you might wish you never knew and ones that you can wow your friends and family with!

This infographic is a success for a number of reasons. There are plenty of visual elements which really carry the overall weight of the infographic with the content playing a supporting role. Not only do the visuals keep the infographic fun and interesting but they play a vital role in explaining the different components of each mattress and how a mattress should support you as you sleep.

The illustration style is appropriate and consistent, and the elements are organized in a way that makes the infographic very easy to read and navigate through. The last row of icons is a little jarring just because the dust mite illustration doesn’t match the style of the other icons but its a small problem. The illustrations of the mattresses are very well done and give a lot of visual information to the reader.

The content is also very well done, with proper citations. The information provided seems sound, though a little more information about the benefits of each type of mattress rather than just what they are made of, might help the reader be a little more informed. (I’d also love to know what “every so often” means for mattress rotation — monthly? 2x per year?) Even so, this infographic would be very useful for anyone who is in the market for a new mattress. Rating: B
